Children were asking for more movement, more time outdoors, more opportunities to wonder, create, and learn through experience.
Together, a small group of educators and courageous families created the kind of learning community they wished had existed all along.
In The Forest Learning wasn't created because we had the perfect model. It was created because children were asking for something different.
We welcome families who believe childhood is about more than academics alone.
Our community is for families who value meaningful experiences, strong relationships, time in nature, and learning that grows from curiosity, responsibility, and real life.
Children attend one, two, or three days each week, while families remain the primary guides for learning at home.
Together, we create a partnership that supports each child's growth academically, socially, emotionally, and personally.

Sarah helped create In The Forest Learning after searching for a different way to learn alongside children. She loves muddy boots, curious questions, and helping children discover what they're capable of.
